CHA specialise in the following:
CHA can help you develop a site tailored to your specific needs.
We have access to the planning requirements of the local authorities and can advise on issues such as gross floor area, car parking regulations and landscaping requirements.
Whether you are an owner occupier or an investor we can help you maximise the use of your site. Good planning is the first step towards achieving a successful project, bad planning can be costly and time wasting.
CHA has the capability to produce architectural designs for most of the tilt panel buildings that we design. By taking on this responsibility we have found that the transition from the architectural to the engineering is seamless, thereby reducing costly delays and misunderstandings traditional between architects and engineers.
If the nature of the project is such that it demands the special expertise of a qualified Architect we have access to such people who are familiar with tilt panel concrete and steel construction.
CHA is sometimes engaged to provide structural engineering design services alone. This usually happens when the clients have engaged an architect to design a building and requires only the structural expertise from us.
Many of our projects such as fuel oil tank bunds, mining vehicle wash bays and machinery foundation etc. literally have no architectural input. To this end we are often engaged as structural engineers.
CHA also has the capability to design roads, drainage and small subdivisions. Quite often this will come as the result of a development condition - where the developer is required by the local authority to complete external works.
We also have the capability to deliver stormwater management plans and concepts for approval by the local authority during the development approval stage of a project.
CHA quite often is asked to be responsible for the delivery of a project. As project managers we can call tenders, and evaluate and recommend a competent contractor to the client.
During the construction phase we will work with the contractor by providing the necessary inspections and monitoring to ensure the works are being constructed to the specification.
